How can I keep my ballet shoes from stinking?

PLEASE NO RUDE ANSWERS!

-Stuff them with newspaper when you aren't using them.

-Put powder (Gold Bond or Baby Powder) in your shoes a few times a month (or as often as you need) and let them sit out for a while.

-Foot powder on your feet. Avoid scented or lotions, bad combination.

Hope that helps!

a stinky dance bag is kind of a right of passage for an accomplished dancer, but if you want to try to save your shoes a bit, always let them dry out after class. you may want to stick a couple of scented dryer sheets in them while they're drying. you can always sue things like febreeze, but that doesn't work as well no leather shoes, if that's what you wear.
well, you can use fabreze on them...also they do sell odoreaters at stores that you put it your shoes to keep them from smelling. Do you wear tights with your ballet shoes? If you don't, then wearing tights will help because your feet won't be sweating onto your shoes. Also if your feet sweat a lot, then try putting baby powder on them before you put your shoes on; that will help absorb the sweat. Don't put them immediately in your dance bag, let them air out when you get home. That will help too. Good luck! You are not alone
after air to dry, put them into a shoe box with foot powder %26amp; a nice smelling scent.
wear socks.....
therz iz alot ov things you can, most have been mentioned, but you could also try canvas shoez, they dont lock up as much sweat as leather shoes, and allways leave them inside out to dry out after class. you can put scent saches in them or for a more convenient option just spray them with body spray, perfume or smelly spray deodarant such as impulse or whateva you have-that can save time and money- also i have a friend hu puts roll on anti-perspirant deodorant on her feet to stop them sweating in her shoes that could also help so yer there are lost of things you can do so gud luck wif dat!!!! :)!
You can febreez them. If you don't wear tights then wear tights, that helps not sweating on your shoes. And they have spray mist and stuff that you can buy in any dance magazine that you can use. You can get some at discountdance.com

Stuffing them with newspaper every once in a while will soak up the smell.

You can also hang them out a window or in your yard, if you have one, for a few hours here and there you could also go out later and stuff a few dryer sheets in them but leave them outside for a while. Fresh air always helps.

Some might suggest the use of sprays or powders. Others do not clean their shoes at all. I usually just buy a new pair if my shoes get too beat up.
you can put baby powder on your feet and in your shoes before class. or you can also get specialized spray at discountdance.com. it works really well. i think its by uncle baba but i am not too sure. just look under accessories.
